The PeaceJam Mission

The mission of the PeaceJam Foundation is to create a new generation of young leaders committed to positive change in themselves, their communities and the world through the inspiration of Nobel Peace Laureates. Greater Texas PeaceJam, based in Houston, is affiliated with the national PeaceJam Foundation. We proudly serve youth in Texas, Louisiana and Oklahoma.

PeaceJam is a year-long, on-going educational program for youth. It is built around Nobel
Peace Laureates who work personally with youth to pass on the spirit, skills and wisdom that they embody. The participating Noble Peace Laureates are directly involved in developing the curriculum and the program itself. PeaceJam is the only organization in the world which has twelve Nobel Peace Laureates working together long-term for a common cause—our children.
